Fall Festivals Abound in Shelby County

Fall in Shelby County features numerous festivals with hay rides, face painting, vendors, food and much more. Each year many communities such as Mt. Laurel celebrate festivals as well as Oak Mountain State Park’s Harvest Festival. Pelham City Park Opens New Sand Volleyball and Basketball Courts

The City of Pelham and Shelby County held a public ribbon cutting with food and live entertainment on Sunday, September 23rd for the new outdoor sand volleyball and outdoor basketball facilities located at City Park next to the Pelham Recreation Center.

16th Annual CityFest at Alabaster’s Thompson High School

The first week of June brings City Fest, one of Shelby County’s longest running events, to Alabaster. This year the event took place at Thompson High School for the first time. Music fans are treated to a long list of artists, and vendors – all at no cost.
